  • Developing excellent sound on their chosen instrument.
  • Encourage good understanding of rhythm, note reading and theory so that students are well-rounded musicians.
  • Students will gain appreciation of the wide variety of musical styles available to clarinet and saxophone.
  • Promoting playing as part of a group to learn musicianship skills and to have fun! This is usually in the form of duets, trios or quartets.
  • Exams – The opportunity to sit level exams allows students to gauge their progress and to set personal goals for their playing.
